Alex’s favorite teacher was Richard Dahlquist, his high school and middle school Pot & Clay and Fine Arts teacher. He inspired creativity, focus, and passion with his students and approached his work with a calming philosophy.
Alex Serves as the Foundation’s Senior Officer of Finance and Administration. He is responsible for finances, administration, human relations, and IT needs. Alex is also happy to do any task necessary to keep the organization running smoothly.
He brings 10 years of US based and international nonprofit experience and has a passion for supporting public education. Both his parents work in the public school system in Maine where his father is a teacher and his mother is a physical therapist improving the lives of children with disabilities. Alex is excited to be a part of the Foundation’s team and furthering its goals.
Alex loves spending time breaking bread with friends, family, and colleagues and enjoys building true personal connections.
