What can you expect to hear? This year’s live streamed event promises to unapologetically examine issues of equity and inclusion, teacher effectiveness, collaborative practice, and even lessons from Finnish education policies.
On October 8-9, 2015 we’ll dive into these topics and much more with renowned speakers, like Harvard’s Pasi Sahlberg University of Michigan’s Deborah Loewenberg Ball, and Harvard’s Paul Reville, among others.
You can watch the live stream of our keynote speakers and panel discussions, here.
We will also be live tweeting via @NEAFoundation using the official event hashtag #NEAFCon. Join the conversation! We want to hear from you.
The Washington, D.C. event brings together 16 communities of union and district leaders participating in the NEA Foundation’s Closing the Achievement Gaps Initiative and Institute for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. These teams work to develop systems and approaches to improving learning conditions and student performance in their communities.
We hope you’ll join us, beginning Thursday, Oct. 8 at 9:00 am ET/6:00 am PT. View the detailed schedule for when to tune in.
