In May, we tipped you off to 11 awesome education grants to apply for this summer. As the temperatures ramp up, we thought we’d do the same with 4 more hot education grants for you to check out as you try to keep cool. Have a look and start applying!
The Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Environmental Education Mini Grants support school-based activities that provide meaningful watershed educational experiences, teacher professional development, and programs designed to advance environmental literacy in the Chesapeake Bay region. The maximum award is $5,000. The deadline to apply is August 5, 2016.
FirstEnergy’s STEM Classroom Grants support classroom projects and teacher professional development initiatives focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The maximum award is $1,000. The deadline to apply is September 23, 2016.
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics’ Pre-K-6 Classroom Research Grants support and encourage classroom-based research and precollege mathematics education in collaboration with college or university mathematics educators. The maximum award is $6,000. The deadline to apply is November 4, 2016.
Kinder Morgan Foundation Grants supports innovative education programs for grades K-12 that promote the academic and artistic interests of young people. The maximum award is $5,000. The application deadline is rolling.
