This project would allow 50 special needs students to participate in two field trips, one to a ride-through Animal Safari Park, and one to tour on foot the Montgomery Zoo. These students have not had the opportunity to participate in field trips due to COVID-19 and although the trips are now permitted, funds are not available to support them this year. By providing students with these opportunities, students will be able to broaden their horizons, learn about animals and their real-life habitats, make real-world connections and learn about jobs in their community.
