Shawna Knipp

The goal of this project is to learn all aspects of the processes related to 504 plans, plans developed to ensure that a child who has a disability identified under the receives accommodations that will ensure their academic success and access to the learning environment. Shawna and others directly responsible for writing and making sure that 504 plans are implemented for students in their school district will attend a two-day conference focused on 504 plans. They plan to share the knowledge they gain with colleagues and building administrators upon their return.
