Ryan Davis

Ryan Davis and his students at Waggener High School will present at the Deeper Learning 2022 Conference in San Diego along with the co-founder of Louisville’s Justice Now Learning Hubs about the work that students did to organize a social justice project in Louisville, Kentucky, after the murder of Breonna Taylor and the movement it fueled. They will share about the club they organized, the citywide race they coordinated, and the class that resulted in their interest and drive to learn about and promote social justice. Presenting at the conference is an opportunity for students to hone their presentation and communication skills on a national stage and to share about the work that they have done to promote social justice inside and outside of the classroom.
