Ofelia Ryan

Ofelia Ryan will work with Public Service Attendance (PSA) Counselors from Los Angeles United School District (LAUSD) to educate area high school students about LGTBQ+ issues through presentations, resource dissemination, and school-wide events. Student volunteers will create
posters and flyers, and visit classrooms to promote the importance of respecting and supporting LGBTQ+ students with their peers. Students will also have the opportunity to work with the Association of Public Services and Attendance Counselors on fundraising efforts to provide scholarship and emergency relief funds for LGBTQ+ students
