Throughout her career, Michelle Dalby has found inspiration and practical knowledge that help her focus on students and families first in books by Ron Clark, an educator, bestselling author, motivational speaker and founder of the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, GA. With funds from this grant, she will attend a workshop at the Ron Clark Academy, providing her with the opportunity to hear Ron Clark in person as well as to interact with students and educators at the academy. Through this training, she expects that all of the students and educators in her school will benefit from what she will learn about making all students feel welcome, comfortable and valued.
