Michelle Carpenter is requesting funds to train her fellow educators in the Adelante! Program, which combines academic support, intervention, counseling, and college/career preparation for first-generation Latinx students. Educators will be supported to provide culturally competent student coaching and family outreach. They will also be provided with resources to lead focus groups with students, families, program alumni and community partners.
