Marsha Rains

This project will provide students in grades 3-5 with interactive, hands-on learning experiences and activities that will solidify a firm foundation in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). The goals of this project are to: engage students in challenging Project Based Learning (PBL) activities that solve real world problems; allow students to work in small groups or teams to solve problems or construct models; encourage students to consider careers in the various STEM fiends by using highly motivating lessons, activities, and virtual learning opportunities; and to teach students how to utilize technology to gain knowledge and insight into solving problems or creating models.
