Lucero Beebe-Giudice will complete online Neurosequential Model in Education (NME) training led by Dr. Bruce Perry, a child psychologist whose research focuses on the impact of trauma on the developing brain and how best to support children in the healing process. This training will enable him to become certified as an NME trainer and in that capacity, he will serve his school in developing trauma-informed education and discipline policies and practices. He will also put this learning to use in his classrooms to improve the academic and life outcomes for his students.
