The goal of this project is to help students learn lifelong budgeting skills that can be practiced through the “Act Your Wage” board game at school, with games available to be taken home for reinforcement. Games will be purchased and made available to any 6^th-12^th grade teachers in the district that would like to participate. The project is supported by current research showing  that students are more engaged in academics when they perceive the learning is for a real-world purpose.
