Krissy Mercer

This project will support the adoption of an online program, “NextUp,” a computer-generated preparation tool with 36 weekly lessons to support the development of pre-employment and job skills for students with special needs. Students will engage in a variety of project-based activities including seeking employment with the assistance of these tools and their teachers. In addition, program data will be used to help create IEPs for each student, providing better data to special education teachers and fostering better communication with students, parents, case workers and school administration.
