This project will support a new iteration of an event held for the first time last year, a Community Story Stroll, where a story is written on large yard signs (one page per sign) and placed in a park or area where people can stroll along and engage with the story. This year’s story stroll in the Dillon community will focus on poetry and will feature a collaboration between first graders, eighth graders and local college students. Schools will work with the public library in what the community is working to ensure becomes an annual event.
