Jessica Mullen will participate in the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) Workshop where she will take part in hands-on activities to learn about oceanography and marine science, island restoration, historic scientific exploration in Bermuda, and the close ties between Bermuda and the United States. Through learning about topics with which she is unfamiliar, Jessica will become a stronger teacher who can implement hands-on learning with her students and through online Zoom meetings with the colleagues she meets during her stay at BIOS.
