Ms. Delmont and Ms. Kordonowy are transitioning their traditional, teacher-led classrooms into student-centered, choice-based learning environments. This project will support them in attending a training where they will learn how to prepare their choice-based classrooms and to purchase the materials and resources needed to organize student workspaces. Ms. Delmont will turn her classroom into an open studio for student artists where they will be able to generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work. The goal of this project is to create a learning environment of student-led learning and a climate of self-acceptance so that creative and innovative thinking is encouraged.
