This grant will enable the purchase of a second classroom set of anatomically correct, hand-crafted MANIKEN skeletal models for students in the biomedical pathway, allowing them to work in pairs with the same MANIKEN junior through senior year. These materials will allow students to build their own skeletal models and through hands-on activity, increasing student engagement, retention of content knowledge and the likelihood of students selecting human anatomy as the focus for their senior year capstone research projects.
