Erin Cosky plans to travel to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, along with 40 other educators to attend “STEAM in the Park.” This four-day professional development opportunity will be led by park rangers and focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, specifically addressing endemic and invasive species in the park. Erin has four personal goals tied to this professional development: to continue to develop strategies to nurture collaboration between her high school students, to create comprehensive and student-centered biology lessons, to create professional connections across the country, and to be inspired.
