Through this project, a Glowforge 3-D printer will be purchased to launch a Design Lab in the school library and support the incorporation of International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards into the general curriculum. This lab will support the redesign of the middle school to better meet the unique needs of its students by allowing more flexibility and student choice; supporting collaboration among staff, students and families; and engaging students in high-quality learning with real-world experience and community connections that prepare them for the future.
