Elizabeth Kommit will train in the Orton Gillingham approach, an accredited literacy program emphasizing a multisensory, sequential and flexible approach to helping all students become competent and confident readers. The approach has been used by another educator at her school who is seeing positive results. Elizabeth is eager to experience the training, put the approach to use in her classroom and work with other educators in her school to expand its usage.
