Elaine Temel

Through grant funds, Elaine Temel is planning to travel to Berlin Germany, to visit the Berlin Wall and take walking tours of the city to visit other culturally and historically significant sites. While on her tour, Elaine will collect artifacts, books, pictures, and videos that she will bring back to her classroom and make into teaching and learning kits. She will conduct lessons and reading units in her classroom to teach about the history of Berlin. Elaine will also present about her tour and share subsequent lessons at a staff meeting as well as offer workshops to her colleagues to share her learning.
