Dean Burress will attend the 2023 National Council for History Education Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, UT, in order to gather information and resources that he can use and share to support Knox County Schools (KCS) Social Studies Department’s focus on inquiry-driven instruction in the social studies classroom. As a district-level social studies educator support team member, he will use the valuable content knowledge he obtains on a variety of U.S. and world history-related topics as well as his enhanced professional network to support the work of KCS social studies educators.
