Chidi Duru

With these grant funds, Chidi Duru plans to attend the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) national conference in Chicago, IL, and the ASM International Material Camp for Teachers in Calgary, Canada. At the NSTA conference, Chidi will be able to collaborate with STEM educators from across the country on their post-pandemic experiences, innovative practices, and teaching strategies. And in Canada, Chidi will spend a week at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in a hands-on lab experience which shows STEM educators how to use applied engineering techniques in their classrooms. He plans to share what he has learned with his students, colleagues, district and community.
