Britney Roe will develop and lead a professional development plan for teachers at Mason City Community School District in the 2022-2023 school year. Using the knowledge gained from the Siedow Teacher Education program, she will develop and deliver instruction on how to support student mental health by becoming a trauma-responsive teacher. As a trauma-responsive teacher, she will be better equipped to support the needs of her students as they navigate and begin to recover from the pandemic.
